Book Synopsis:

Telly Finkle was a young, plain, slender brown snake that lives in a deep, quiet hole under a smooth, flat gray rock.  Telly doesn’t have many friends in the forest.  One reason was because Telly smelled awful.  None of the animals in the forest know that Telly is afraid of water, but what everyone does know is that the main reason Telly can’t keep a friend is because he loves to tattle.

With the help of a dark green bullfrog named Willard Warts, Telly finds what it means to be a friend while conquering his fear of water.

A wife, mom, and grandmother = fabulous 50! – Pat Farmer. I have a wonderful family and extended family that is my all! I have been married 33 years and I have 3 children; two of which have a family of their own and one who still is in college. At this time I have 4 joyous grandchildren who teach their Nanny something new everyday.

Book Synopsis:

Willie and the places he explores are all borne from the time I spent living in northeast Scotland with my family. I hope the words and pictures on these pages provide a glimpse of the Scotland I know and evidence of the beauty that pours from the rocks and rises from the sea.   May these words inspire you to enjoy something new and unique with your family.

Book Synopsis:

Another delightful children's book by the author and artist, Ann Ryan.

This time the imagination of the author takes us in to jungles of Africa where we find a young zebra less than content with his stripes.  It seems that all of the other animals in the jungle and on the savannah have much more interesting marks and coloring.

Would it be better to be like one of the other animals?  Or is it better to just be yourself.

Read and enjoy!  The author teaches all of us a valuable lesson.

Author Biography:

Ann Ryan is a life long resident of Bay City, Texas. She and her husband of 45 years, Paul, built and moved into a log home with their four girls in 1977. The country setting is perfect for their four daughters, their husbands, seven grandchildren and one great grandson to visit.

She has always loved to create. She made Halloween and dancing costumes for her girls and now for the grandchildren. Painting became a hobby and then a business as she and her daughter Jennifer created a company called "The Attic Door" featuring children’s hand painted furniture and accessories.

She has always enjoyed writing poetry for invitations and special occasions. Her family encouraged her to write a children’s book featuring some of the characters and drawings she has used on her furniture. Because each child is so special in their own way but always want to be something else " Little Wannbee" was born.
