Book Synopsis: My book reveals that I was an addict and how I am recovering. I have improved my spelling, vocabulary, and writing skills. My memory is improving also. I hope my book will enlighten people to understand addicts. I hope that addicts can see that there is still hope for their life, and that they can defeat the devil inside them. I needed God in my life to help me beat the devil, and so do you. God loves you, and I urge you to please turn to Him every day. You will find that you must live one day at a time. |

Author Biography:
![]() I have now celebrated over ten years clean and sober. In the ten years
of my sobriety I have written and published a book of poetry called, “A
Life Worth Mending”, created and published a complete Christ-Based 12
step program and founded a non-profit ministry called “Broken Chains
Ministry”. My vision is to offer hope to those suffering in their
addiction through God.
The mission of my ministry is the educating and motivating those bound by various addictions through the written and spoken word. That is why I have written these books. It takes courage to begin your recovery. There are going to be stormy seas and many times what you think is going to be a safe harbor is really shallow and rocky water. Let Christ, the one who loves you most, be the lighthouse that guides you to a safe shore. |

Book Synopsis: When someone loses a child, there are no words that can be said that will ease the pain. What we need most is prayers and a compassionate friend to listen. My son Jay died at the early age of 36. He was a young man that was full of life and brought a smile to everyone he touched. My book, “He Planted a Seed,” is a compilation of my own remembrances of my beloved son. Each line of prose is a tribute to the life that he lived and the lives that he touched. Jay spent his short life planting seeds of hope and happiness in each life he came in contact with. He is gone from this natural world but his spirit lives on in the hearts and memories of those who loved him. Each seed Jay planted has left a tree of wisdom and joy that each of us continue to live and learn from every day. To those who choose the path of wisdom, love, and courage his footsteps are deep. His path is easy to follow because it is lined with the trees, born of the seeds Jay planted in his life. Bless you on your journey. |
